Welcome to Pattagam ("the App"). By using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

Pattagam provides a video editing and rendering service on a "Pay As You Go" basis. Users can purchase credits to pay for video rendering and other services within the App.

2. User Accounts & Authentication

To access our services, you must sign in using a Google Account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. By using Google Authentication, you agree to allow us to access basic profile information as permitted by Google and our Privacy Policy.

3. Payments, Credits, and Refunds

  • Payments: All payments for credits are processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
  • Credit Validity: All purchased credits are valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Any unused credits will expire and be forfeited after this period.
  • Refunds: All purchases are final and non-refundable.

4. User Conduct and Content Restrictions

You agree not to use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You are solely responsible for the content you create, upload, and render. You agree not to create or distribute any content that:

  • Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, or abusive.
  • Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or features child exploitation material.
  • Infringes on any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that are found to be in violation of these content restrictions without notice.

5. Privacy Policy & Data Handling

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This section outlines how we handle your data.

  • User Inputs & Outputs: To provide our service, we temporarily store the files you upload (e.g., videos, images, audio) and the final rendered videos you create. All user-generated content and output files are permanently deleted from our workspace and storage servers on a weekly basis.
  • Metadata: We retain metadata related to your render jobs (e.g., job ID, render time, credits used, completion status) for your account history and for our internal analytics. This metadata does not include your personal files.
  • Third-Party Services:
    • Google Authentication: We use Google for sign-in and account management. We only access your basic profile information (e.g., email address, display name).
    • Stripe: We use Stripe for payment processing. Your payment details are handled by Stripe and are subject to their privacy policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your use of the service, including any loss of data or content.

7. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new terms on this page. Your continued use of the App after the changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
